Case is a professional engineer specializing in stream restoration with a background in water quality, groundwater and mine reclamation. He has over 25 years of experience as an environmental engineer and construction manager. His experience covers a broad spectrum of water-related issues as well as many other facets of civil engineering and construction. Case has managed numerous projects involving highly complex water resource components in both urban and rural settings. These components include hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, stream gauging and flow measurements, land and property ownership issues, permitting with various local, state and federal agencies, complex biological and physical habitat interactions, groundwater and surface water interactions, fluvial geomorphology, stream restoration, natural channel design, hydrodynamics, construction contracting, and construction management.
