Stream Restoration Specialist
Casey is a Stream Restoration Specialist with an educational background in Biosystems Engineering. She has contributed to and participated in all aspects and stages of an Ecosystem Restoration project lifecycle from proposals, resource impact investigations, and permitting, to mitigation design, stream construction observation, post-construction stream monitoring, adaptive management, and client-agency coordination. Specializing in geomorphic assessments, stream quantification tools, report development, 401/404 permitting, credit/debit analysis, site data analysis, project mapping, and site design. Casey has contributed to various projects in Kentucky, Tennessee, Ohio, Indiana, Texas, Minnesota, Iowa, and Colorado. Throughout her work, she utilizes tools such as Microsoft Office, BANKFULL©, RIVERmorph, ArcGIS Pro, and AutoCAD Civil3D. In the field, Casey is experienced in using FieldMaps, Survey Grade DPS, Total Station, Laser Levels, and Automatic Levels to complete field assessments. Additionally, Casey has had training and field experience in soil sampling, groundwater sampling, dye trace studies, and water sampling events.
